Fundraising and Other Events

Donations

We are very grateful for the support of the Dobermann Clubs' and since the last Caring Hands magazine (available to members only) was produced in September 2009 we have received the following donations.

Birmingham Dobermann Cloub makes a yearly donation to us and this year it was three hundred pounds. Scottish dobermann Club raised four hundred pounds from the Scottish Dobermann Charity Walk.

We know how hard fund raising is, particularly in these times when everybody is tightening their belts, so thank you very much for all the effort their members have put in to raise these donations.

Membership Renewal

It's that time of the year again. Membership renewals were due on 1 April 2010. We hope that you will renew your membership or join our Association as your contributions help us to provide for our beloved Dobes. For those of you who are new to the organization I can assure you that all our helpers are volunteers and do not receive payment for their contributions which means that all the money we receive goes towards the care and welfare of our dogs. Fund Raising - Saturday 31 July 2010, Village Green, New Romney, Kent

DWA will once again be having a stand at the New Romney Country Fayre in July

It would be nice to see some of our members on the day and any extra helpers, even for an hour, would be very welcome. We hope the weather will be fine, which always helps to boost attendance at these events, and we should be able to raise lots of money for our Dobes. We would be grateful for any donations of bric-a-brac, books and tombola prizes for the event.
