Leo
A handsome four and a half year old Black & Tan castrated male. Leo lives with two cats but has never lived with children. He is a tall dog who gets on with both male and female dogs and is good with people. He is well trained but like most Dobes can be stubborn when it suits him and would be better suited to a home that is used to male Dobermanns.
Leo comes from a very caring family but is being rehomed due to his owners moving to New Zealand where they are unable to find rented accommodation that will let them have their dog.

Dexter
Much loved by his current owners who have sadly no choice but to rehome this 7 y.o. black and tan docked and castrated male because his bull terrier companion has started to attack him. Dexter's vaccinations are up-to-date, he lives with cats, loves people and is good with other dogs. Photo to follow. Currently based in Northumberland. Dylan
Approximately 4 years old, Dylan is a Black and Tan, castrated male. Dylan was dumped on a mountainside in Wales and left to starve and freeze to death. Luckily he was found late one evening by a dog walker. Dylan could hardly walk as he was so stiff from the cold and was a bag of bones. Since he has been in the DWA care he has put on a lot of weight and been castrated.
Dylan is a handsome, affectionate dog who loves people, but is not keen on other male dogs. He would enjoy an active lifestle in an experienced Dobermann home. Marley
A strong-boned, good looking 7 year old black and tan dobermann, Marley is an entire male whose owner had to give him up as she is suffering from Multiple Sclerosis and going blind.
Marley needs a home where he is the only dog, and with an owner who is experienced with active male dogs and no small children.
Marley has a wonderful nature, but sadly he has not been well educated. Given time, company and routine however, he should make a good companion.

Bonnie
Bonnie is a 2½ year old Blue unspayed bitch, and although she is not good with other dogs and can be quite nervous - Bonnie is very sweet natured. She will walk with other dogs as long as they leave her alone but would not tolerate living with another dog. She loves company and would be better with somebody who is at home most of the day. As with most Blue Dobes her coat is not very good, however it has greatly improved since she has been on special supplements. Darcy
Darcy is 4½ year old Brown and Tan spayed bitch. She is lively and strong, but obedient. An ideal home for her would be with an active family - Darcy is good with other dogs once she gets to know them. However, she would be a better rehoming prospect as an only dog. Tara
A 7 year old Black and Tan spayed bitch, Tara only has partial vision in one eye due to a detached retina, caused by a blow to her head. She also has the early signs of 'Wobblers'. She loves people and is good with other dogs at the kennels, however, we feel she would be better in a home as an only dog. Tara will bark if left alone due to the environment she was kept in, and therefore needs a home with somebody at home most of the time. Jake
A 9 year old castrated Blue male dog, Jake needs an experienced, understanding, and loving home with no children. He can be quite dominant, naughty and wilful if allowed to have his own way. Jake was treated very roughly in his former life and requires a sympathetic owner who will be firm but fair.
Jake will chew things when left alone, therefore he would prefer an owner where he is not left on his own for any length of time. He is good with other dogs and pretends to be brave but always backs down when challenged. Jake is very affectionate and loving and loves to play with balls and squeaky toys.
